Our Story

Papa Tea is a family-founded Australian tea brand created by Ukrainians who made Australia their new home.

After moving to Australia, we began searching for the kind of tea we had always enjoyed back home—loose leaf blends with rich aroma, visible fruits, flowers and herbs, and a flavour that made every cup feel special.

We missed that familiar quality and the simple comfort of opening a tea jar, seeing the colourful ingredients and brewing a cup that tasted as good as it smelled.

So we found a way to bring those European tea traditions to Australia.

What began as a search for tea for our own family became Papa Tea—a collection we could share with people across Australia who were also looking for something more exciting, expressive and enjoyable than an ordinary tea bag.

Our blends are created in Germany and carefully packed in Australia to preserve their flavour, aroma and freshness.

We wanted Papa Tea to make choosing loose leaf tea simple.
