Relax, Reset or Meditation? Create Your Evening Tea Ritual
Relax, Reset or Meditation? Create Your Evening Tea Ritual
Evening tea is not only about flavour.
It can become a small signal that the busy part of the day is over—a moment to put the phone down, slow the pace and enjoy something warm and familiar.
At Papa Tea, three blends are especially suited to slower moments:
Relax, Reset and Meditation.
Each one offers a different experience. Two are naturally caffeine-free, while one is a gentle green tea better suited to the afternoon or early evening.
Relax: A Gentle End to the Day
Relax is a naturally caffeine-free herbal and fruit infusion with apple, peach, peppermint, chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, valerian root and other botanicals.
Its flavour is soft, fruity and floral, with a light freshness from peppermint.
This is the blend to choose when you want a warm, comforting cup at the end of the day without caffeine.
What Does Relax Taste Like?
Relax combines:
- soft apple and peach notes;
- gentle chamomile and lavender;
- fresh peppermint;
- a smooth herbal finish.
It is aromatic without being heavy and works especially well as part of a quiet evening routine.
Choose Relax When You Want:
- a naturally caffeine-free infusion;
- a soft fruit and floral flavour;
- chamomile and lavender notes;
- a gentle tea for later in the day;
- a comforting hot cup before settling in for the evening.
Tea type: Herbal and fruit infusion
Flavour profile: Fruity, floral, fresh and gently minty
Caffeine level: 0/5
Best time: Evening
Reset: Fresh, Herbal and Refreshing
Reset is a caffeine-free herbal infusion with lemongrass, peppermint, chamomile, rosehip, hibiscus and citrus peel.
Compared with Relax, it is brighter and fresher. The lemongrass, mint and citrus create a clean, lively cup that can be enjoyed hot or chilled.
Reset is a good choice when you want an evening tea that feels refreshing rather than sweet or deeply floral.
What Does Reset Taste Like?
Reset offers:
- fresh lemongrass;
- cooling peppermint;
- bright citrus peel;
- light floral and hibiscus notes.
The flavour is crisp, herbal and slightly tangy.
Choose Reset When You Want:
- a naturally caffeine-free tea;
- fresh mint and lemongrass;
- citrus and herbal notes;
- something light after a long day;
- a blend that also tastes refreshing over ice.
Tea type: Herbal infusion
Flavour profile: Citrusy, fresh, minty and lightly floral
Caffeine level: 0/5
Best time: Any time of day, including evening
Meditation: A Mindful Daytime Pause
Meditation is a floral green tea with blackberry leaves, coconut, cornflower, rose, sunflower, marigold and tropical fruit flavours.
Unlike Relax and Reset, Meditation contains green tea and therefore is not caffeine-free.
It is best suited to the afternoon or early evening, especially when you want a quiet, mindful break but do not need a completely caffeine-free option.
What Does Meditation Taste Like?
Meditation combines:
- soft green tea;
- coconut;
- pineapple, passionfruit, mango and apple flavour;
- delicate flower petals.
The cup is smooth, floral and tropical, with a gentle sweetness.
Choose Meditation When You Want:
- a light green tea;
- coconut and tropical fruit notes;
- a floral and visually beautiful blend;
- a quiet afternoon ritual;
- a low-caffeine alternative to stronger black tea.
Tea type: Green tea
Flavour profile: Floral, tropical, smooth and delicate
Caffeine level: 2/5
Best time: Daytime or early evening.
Which Tea Should You Choose?
Choose Relax when you want a soft, fruity and floral caffeine-free cup for the end of the day.
Choose Reset when you prefer fresh lemongrass, mint and citrus and want something light and refreshing.
Choose Meditation when you want a gentle green tea with coconut, tropical fruit and petals for a quiet daytime or early evening moment.
The main difference is simple:
- Relax is soft and comforting.
- Reset is fresh and herbal.
- Meditation is floral and tropical, with a small amount of caffeine.
How to Create a Simple Evening Tea Ritual
You do not need a complicated routine. A few small details can make the experience feel special.
1. Choose Your Moment
Try to brew your tea when you can sit down for at least a few minutes without rushing.
2. Use Loose Leaf Tea
Loose leaf tea allows the ingredients to open in the water and release their full aroma and flavour.
3. Prepare the Water Correctly
For Relax and Reset, use water at approximately 95°C.
For Meditation, use cooler water at approximately 80–90°C to protect the softer green tea flavour.
4. Let the Tea Brew Fully
Herbal infusions generally need more time than green tea.
- Relax: approximately 5–7 minutes;
- Reset: approximately 5–7 minutes;
- Meditation: approximately 5–7 minutes, according to the product instructions.
Always check the directions on the packaging.
5. Make the Moment Your Own
Enjoy your tea with a book, music, a bath, journalling or simply a few quiet minutes.
The goal is not to create a perfect routine. It is simply to make space for a pause.
Can You Drink These Teas Cold?
Yes.
Reset is particularly refreshing chilled because of its lemongrass, peppermint and citrus profile.
Relax can also be cold-brewed for a softer fruit and floral drink.
Meditation works well chilled with slices of apple, mango or a small piece of pineapple.
Are All Evening Teas Caffeine-Free?
No.
Herbal and fruit infusions such as Relax and Reset are naturally caffeine-free because they do not contain traditional tea leaves.
Meditation contains green tea, so it has a low caffeine level rather than being caffeine-free.
People who are sensitive to caffeine may prefer Meditation earlier in the day and choose Relax or Reset later in the evening.
Find Your Evening Blend
There is no single correct way to enjoy evening tea.
Some evenings call for the gentle fruit and flowers of Relax. Others feel better with the clean freshness of Reset. And sometimes a quiet afternoon cup of Meditation is exactly the pause you need.
Choose the flavour and moment that feel right for you.
Pause. Reset. Relax.
